After my first boot camp class I saw Ariane for a Weightloss KickStart session to enhance my goal to lose weight with proper nutrition. After only one week I was off my oral diabetes medications. By the third week I had lost 10 lbs. By the fourth week I knew I could make this a permanent change. Two hours after tonight’s class I can’t wait for the next one.
Diabetes sent my Dad to heaven last year, so my wife Mary is thrilled that I am finally taking care of myself. Since meeting Ariane a month ago I never had so much fun working out so hard and never paid so little to sweat so much and learn to change my eating habits. I did find out how good of a trainer Ariane is and what makes her different. It’s not just the results or personal follow-up; it’s that she’s the best. Go ahead, burn some calories and call her!
Ariane, I have much to thank you for. I went from being an overweight, out-of-shape blob to telling Brad Pitt to watch his back. And my pants nearly fell off in the process. Who would have thought? And it ain’t over til it’s over, as the great Yogi Berra once put it. I plan on losing more than the 30 lbs I’ve lost so far. I sing your praises. Your approach is holistic, which really makes a difference. You’re tough when you have to be and you make your disciples (count me among them) feel you’re in it with them. You’re easy to work with and enjoy a good laugh. I felt almost as if you took as much pride in what I accomplished as I did, and that made me feel prouder. To my trainer par excellence, thanks!
I love Ariane’s boot camp classes. They are truly butt-kicking! After changing my eating habits and attending the “Slim and Strong” Boot Camp for a month, I lost 5.5% body fat, 9 lbs of fat and put on 7 lbs of muscle in only 4 weeks. I couldn’t believe it! I have much more energy and feel great about my body.
I had never taken classes in my life because my coordination is terrible. I took my 1st class on January 10th, 2009. I weighed 135 before taking the first class. I also attended one of her nutrition workshops and what a revelation! All I can say is Ariane is amazing. I took the boot camp classes every Thursday & Saturday for a month and I followed her nutrition plan. I’m so happy to say that I am 125lbs now. I can’t believe it. I didn’t tell anyone that I had made any changes, not even my husband. He looks at me know and says: “Wow, you are looking great. Keep up whatever you are doing!” My clothes are fitting so much better. My body feels tighter and I feel more confident in myself and about my appearance. Thank you Ariane!
Ariane, the thing that stands out for me is that I never expected such great results so quickly. I went into the class at a good level of fitness, but in four short weeks I shrunk my waist by two inches and noticed dramatic changes in my body. It’s so toned all over! My arms and legs look great and I love showing them off, my bottom has firmed up, and the real kicker is that I actually have defined stomach muscles! I may actually be willing to wear a bathing suit in public again. Thanks. The Slim and Strong boot camp program has been amazing!!!
I meant to tell you, my friend and I went jeans shopping on the weekend and she told me I have ‘onion booty’. I’m not up on my lingo so I asked her “What’s an onion booty”? She said it means “your butt is so good, it makes you cry!! …I guess I’ll take that !! So thanks for my onion booty!
I am going on my third week with the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp and I have to say, I am seeing results already. The inches are coming off. Ariane is a very good Trainer. I recently lost 90 lbs and now I am maintaining and toning up and the Boot Camp is helping a lot. If you are looking for a high energy workout, this is the one for you.
Well, I lost 6 inches off my waist in the last month…need I say more? The class is tough but it’s definitely worth it especially being able to see results immediately. The nutrition class was very helpful because just a few changes in my diet (adding more protein, eating healthier carbs, 5-6 meals a day) changed the way I felt about myself and how I look. I’m more toned and feel more confident!! I mean every now and then I do have a cheat meal but I just don’t feel guilty anymore about it. I feel good about it because I work out and eat the right foods.
Last year I was running and taking Pilates, which I thought was a tough class. I actually just came back from Pilates (after not taking a class in 4-5 months) and I didn’t even break a sweat. I did get a good stretch out of it though. The instructor asked if I was attending classes regularly since the class seemed easy for me. I told her that I’ve been taking boot camp with you. Maybe I need boot camp Pilates!!! Thanks Ariane for everything!!
I noticed a significant difference in my energy level and in the way my body looked after only a few weeks of the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp. Ariane is a fantastic motivator who manages to keep every class interesting and challenging. I have been to many classes at gyms over the years and I have never found a class that compares to Boot Camp. I highly recommend this to anyone. Thanks!
Boot camp has been incredible– I’ve learned how to incorporate protein into my diet, gained muscle, lost fat and even have become more of a morning person! It feels so good to start the day by breaking a sweat, listening to great music, and getting a boost of energy. I get a far better workout with Ariane than I would ever get on my own–there’s lots of variety and she really pushes me. I’m training for my third marathon and boot camp has helped me to get stronger and stay free of injuries. I’m a very happy camper! Kerry
I started taking Ariane’s indoor bootcamp in January and was intrigued by the WeightLoss KickStart session. I am thrilled that over the past 5 weeks, I have lost 7 lbs, 2% body fat, 3 inches from my waist, 2 inches from my hips and about 1.5 inches from my thighs. The lifestyle changes were pretty easy and I honestly could not believe how quickly I saw results. Great program, tremendous boot camp instructor! Now I don’t cringe (as much) at doing 200 pushups!”

It was extremely satisfying to have my measurements verify that I lost 7 lbs, 2% body fat and 5 inches. I was pretty happy to fit in an old pair of jeans yesterday.
I thought it was wonderful how you incorporated the nutritional class into the program. What I learned in that one hour will forever change the way I make decisions on how I eat. I came into the class with the expectation that it would just be a good sweaty workout. Who knew I’d be educated in the process! Even though starchy carbs are my favorite food, I felt a lot better once I stopped focusing on what I couldn’t eat and instead began liking foods that I should eat. I cut back drastically on the bad carbs and tried replacing them with healthy alternatives. I have consumed more cottage cheese, egg whites and oatmeal in the last three weeks than I have in all my 32 years combined.
I wanted you to know that I really enjoyed February’s session. I appreciate the fun and efficient one hour workouts, the nutritional enlightenment and most importantly your encouragement and support in the process. Somehow you always knew when to send an email reminder to keep us on track and always paid attention to us if we did an exercise improperly. (I swear one day I will be able to do that crossover donkey kick the right way. That and a full set of arm band stretches…). Thanks again for kicking my butt and for getting me on that road to a stronger, slimmer me.
